Ringo Borlain and his partner, Dwan Abantao of the Philippines, were the FIRST Asians to win the prestigious Mr and Ms Universe titles (Mixed Pair Category), beating 250 participants from 39 countries at the 2006 Mr and Ms Universe Body Building Competition held in Cuxhnvun, Germany, joining the ranks of famous past winners like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferigno (Incredible Hulk).
